How to register Digital Signature for EPFO online claim submission

EPFO introduces a new system to facilitate online submission of transfer claims by Members. A member has an option to submit his claim either through his present employer or the previous one.To attest and forward claims online, the employers are required to register Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) with EPFO. Digital Signature Certificate of class 2 and class 3 category issued by a licensed Certifying Authority (CA) need to be registered for the purpose.Also Read

  1. Is it Mandatory to register digital signature on PF Transfer/Claim Portal?

    1. No , it is not mandatory ,but if you are willing to submit claim online then it is mandatory .It is a facility which you should avail.
      In present case employee employer representative have to visit ePFO office to submit claim .In your case you have to visit Bathinda , which may cost both time and money.

      So after registering digital signing the claims ,you can submit by click of a mouse.
