Many readers have inquired us , whether Multiple challan can be created to upload at epfo site .The Answer is yes ,you can create as many challan as required in a one month .However If challan is not deposited with in 15 days it will be lapsed automatically. This is a very beneficial for Contractors who is working in different organisation.Principal employers are generally demanding separate challan for their establishment only, not merged with other establishment where contractor has also under taken work 

Further now principal employer can demand employee wise ECR challan detail  from contractor to safeguard the interest of the Employee/worker. EPF slips will also be generated on monthly basis as this challan is also treated as return. Now no need to fill yearly/monthly returns

 26. CAN I UPLOAD ECR FILES IN BATCHES FOR A WAGE MONTH BY A SINGLE ESTABLISHMENT?

YES. But for each uploaded ECR file payment should be made through the challan generated for that ECR
