The data bank also endeavors to capture information on the basis of investment, turnover, no. of employees, product and services and credit rating related to joint ventures, technology transfers, export and import of machinery and membership of the associations.

Promoters and entities can register on MSME Databank who have Aadhaar( Promoter’s Aadhaar and Udyog Aadhaar Number for the business) and PAN. In short one must have Aadhaar or Udyog Aadhaar for registration.
Also MSME Units which are getting benefits from government must be enrolled in MSME databank after the MSME Registration Further, MSME Development (Furnishing of Information) Rules, 2009 requires all MSME enterprises to provide information relating to their business to the government of India.
- How to Register under MSME Databank ??
One can register for MSME databank by accessing MSME Databank Portal. One has to fill the form as on the website. There is mainly 5 type of details required in the form which is following:

- Other details
- Additional requirements
Basic details :-
One of them is basic details which require details like Aadhaar no., PAN no., Name of enterprise, state, the communication address of promoter etc. this can be seen in the following image:

This contains details like enterprise address, state, a person employed, last year’s turnover and product details etc.
This contains details like bank name, Account Number, IFSC Code, awards details etc.
This contains details like Details of use of solar energy, Joint Venture, Export, quality certification Etc.
